Cataract
A cataract occurs when the natural lens of the eye becomes cloudy, causing blurred or hazy vision. Cataracts may develop gradually and can make activities such as reading, driving or recognising faces more difficult. Treatment depends on the severity of the cataract, and surgery may be recommended when vision is significantly affected.
