Dr. Samir Contractor graduated from Medical College Baroda in 1995 and completed his master's degree in general surgery in 1998. He obtained his FRCS from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, UK, in 2001. Additionally, he pursued a fellowship in Minimally Invasive Surgery at Sir Gangaram Hospital in New Delhi. For  the  past 24 years, he has been practicing as a Laparoscopic Surgeon in Vadodara and 14 years as obesity surgeon.	Over the last decade, he has been actively running an obesity management program and is a certified exercise and nutrition coach.
